Medical Tests (performed by your Medical Dr.) required prior to Chelation:

You will also require a Urine Elements Test to determine the base level of heavy metals found in your bloodstream and a Urine 8 hour test (done at home over an 8 hour period)

Toxic Heavy Metal Chelation

Heavy Metal Chelation is a 1 hour process each treatment. Removing heavy metals through the process of Chelation requires 20 treatments. – 1 treatment every 2 weeks.  Each treatment is $130-$200

The dosage of EDTA (IV treatment) and DMSA (oral treatment) depends on a) kidney function and b) body weight.

On average 20-60 percent of Heavy Metals are removed on average – which is determined by a post-treatment Urine Elements Test.

Cardiovascular Chelation:(for people with Artherosclerosis – hardening of the arteries)

Chelation helps remove plaque build up in the arteries. Numerous studies have been performed delineating the benefit of chelation in the treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Understanding the mechanism whereby these conditions can occur is important in order to understand the benefit of a therapy like chelation. A number of cardiovascular issues are due to atherosclerosis (which you may not realise starts in childhood). Toxic metals are known to cause damage to the vascular wall, thus triggering an immune cascade which eventually leads to calcification of the vessels in the body’s attempt at protecting itself from damage. This, of course, is well known to increase blood pressure, increase risk of heart attacks, etc.

Chelation works by removing the toxic metals and the calcifications from the body in order to increase healthy vascular flow throughout the entire body thus leading to decreased risk of cardiovascular disease. Utilizing chelation in addition to other supportive factors can lead to a significant improvement in cardiovascular health.

Cardiovascular Chelation is a 3 hour process each session. Removing heavy metals through the process of Chelation requires 20 treatments – 1 treatment every 2 weeks.  Each treatment is $175 -$250 (depending on the dosage of EDTA & DMSA) The dosage of EDTA (IV treatment) and DMSA (oral treatment) depends on a) kidney function and b) body weight.

On average 20-60 percent of Heavy Metals are removed on average – which is determined by a post-treatment Urine Elements Test.
